The intake is the most crucial step in our entire process as this will set the tone for the entire recruitment cycle. Topics such as company history, values, benefits, management structure, and career paths will be covered in detail. Why go through all this trouble? For us, it’s because we are not just trying to fill an opening. We want this process to feel like we’re on the same team, and discuss opportunities with candidates as if we were talking about our own firm. It makes all the difference, and it’s a level of service and value we bring to the table.
Once we have a firm understanding of your company, we will then proceed to review current job requisitions. Again, the more details we gain from you, the higher our recruiting quality will be, so we’ll want to dive deeper into the role than what is stated on standardized job descriptions. Conversations with Team Leads or Direct Supervisors is strongly encouraged as they usually have the best grasp of the skillsets that are needed most. Using all the material and information provided to us, we will then develop our own unique job postings and talking points.
This step coincides with the Overview of Needs. As we develop unique postings for your opportunities, we can also introduce tailored questioning or testing to ensure you will only receive candidates that meet your specific criteria. This becomes incredibly handy for teams that are looking for niche or more specialized skillsets, e.g. FPGA development in embedded systems, or a CNC Programmer that is especially strong in manual programming. AI-developed aptitude testing can further verify the candidate’s knowledge.
Consistent communication will be one of the trademarks of the service we want to provide you with. We’ve learned from personal experience that communication can either make or break a candidate’s decision to join your team. Here is what you can expect from us: weekly recaps, daily touches when candidates are in process, site visits, and continuous calls with the HR or Management team to make sure we are recruiting efforts are going in the right direction.
Our commitment to the candidate’s longevity does not end on their first day. We will continue to regularly check in with the candidate as a way to proactively address any concerns.
